The 2009 National Leadership Conference in Nashville, Tennessee truly proved that FCCLA has moved beyond labels of the past and forward into the future! Over 6,000 conference participants got the chance to take part in all of the week's activities--from exhibits to speakers to elections and STAR Events!
It was very exciting to see how new generations of members are carrying FCCLA into new areas, with a wide variety of projects, new STAR Events, and exciting workshops. I had a great time returning as an Alumni and having the opportunity to observe and check out so many different events at the conference. I hope to see more alumni at the 65th Anniversary celebration of FCCLA in Chicago at the 2010 NLC!
